Here’s a run-down of our full-time members:
- Liam effectively serves as editor-in-chief, with the creative writing and journalistic background, and looks at the game not too differently from his highly esteemed new GM Danny Briere. He evaluates teams looking at the big picture and thorough impacts while reconciling that with stats and talent as a wordsmith and also specializes in prospects in the North American major junior leagues (with plenty of insight on players in both the USHL and CHL) and in Europe (particularly Sweden, Finland, and Russia). He is a Flyers fan and has proven his mettle by surviving through multiple attempts at rebuilding.
- Christian is more or less our chief operating officer. He is a great communicator with a great eye for data analytics and other such number crunching. He could be a team’s director of scouting, probably, and he has a finger on the pulse of the current trends in and direction of NCAA hockey (both Divisions I and III) that is quite remarkable. He is also our primary PWHL contributor and a large presence in the women’s hockey community. He steers the ship in many of our branding respects and is our best at networking. He is a Ducks fan and has only ever cried at sports once and it was after that one hit on Paul Kariya.
Our current part-timers:
- Mathew (with one t) is a former NCAA goaltender. He has prep school and junior hockey experience. He is the Bruins fan member of our contingent and always brings a great energy to the room whenever he is around to participate in discourse with us. His is prominently featured on the D3 Bros Podcast.
- Damien is an affiliate with a hyper fixation on goaltending and Sidney Crosby. He was a Full-Time member of Black Stitch Hockey until late 2024, where he provided NHL and PWHL news and perspectives. Since late 2025, he is the third contributor on the D3 Bros Podcast, and a collaborator on PWHL content.
